Big Box Series Private Limited was established in 2019. With commercial cinemas, Big Box series is known for performing experimental cinema with films like “Jagat” and “Vash”. “Vash” was later remade in bollywood as “Shaitaan”, which was produced by Devgn Films. Exploring different genres has been the key feature of Big Box Series with it’s filmography like “Naadi Dosh”, “Raado”. “Vash”, “Jagat”, “Trisha on The Rocks”, “Mithada Maheman” and “Vash Level 2”. Big Box series with Trisha on The Rocks, released film in Gujarati as well as Hindi, Since then Big Box Series have been associated with OTT’s with it’s films. Such as Vash level 2 is available on Netflix in Dual language, Hindi as well as Gujarati.
Apart from the theatrical release, Big Box Series has produced many short films, songs and web series. Building on this success, the company moved towards Hindi films to reach a wider national audience and further adapted to the evolving entertainment landscape by creating content for OTT platforms. This progression highlights its transition from regional roots to a broader presence in Indian cinema and digital streaming.
Krishnadev Yagnik
Krishnadev Yagnik is an Indian Film director and screenwriter, known for his works in Gujarati Film Industry. He is the writer and director of the films such as Chello Divas, Days of Tafree, Karsandas Pay & Use, Shu Thayu?, Naadidosh, Raado, Vash, Denny Jigar,Trisha on the Rocks and Vash level 2 all Gujarati films.
He is the Director of the film production house called Big Box Series. He also co-founded the film production house - Belvedere Films.
Vash which was remade in Hindi named Shaitaan, and Vash level 2 (2025) which has received very positive response. Vash won the National Film Award for Best Gujarati Feature Film at the 71st National Film Awards.
